Gerrie

Executive/Middle Manager Coaching — Individual

"This month marks the anniversary of my first coaching session, and I have good news to report about several accomplishments over the past year: I acquired two income properties with both showing a profit in next month; successful completion of a ski instructor exam; recognition as 2003 Volunteer of the Year by YMCA; new job that is a great match for my interests and skill set. Thanks for your help in keeping my focus and better understanding of longer-term goals."

B.L., Staffing Manager for
Fortune 100 Corporation

"It is wonderfully reinforcing to have a personal cheerleader to assist you to accomplishment. As a result of my coaching partnership with Gerrie, I find that I have taken strides toward goals I normally would have procrastinated about and not achieved. I felt that I had to follow-through on my goals, did, and DID achieve. I worked more effectively and focused in a different way on projects and goals.

My initial hesitancy and skepticism about coaching was soon abated when I began to work with Gerrie, and I now find myself a convert to the idea of personal coaching due, in fact to the major effort, professionalism, and personal rapport I have with Ms. Dresser as my coach. I find Ms. Dresser to be actively engaged, more than capable, concerned, and knowledgeable about her topics, enthusiastic about my successes and productively inter-bound with my goals and desires.

I recommend coaching to others, and I particularly recommend Ms. Dresser to assist you to realize that which you would hope to accomplish."

Barry Brait, Financial Transactions Manager

"Gerrie has helped me to look at my long-range goals and how to achieve balance in my activities, so that now my daily "to-do-list", both at work and at home, takes on a larger meaning. Gerrie also encouraged me to "play to my strengths", rather than trying to fix certain areas."

William E. (Bill) Toffey, Biosolids Utilization Manager

"Gerrie Dresser is an excellent motivator; she has helped me review my career and life goals and worked with me to achieve or improve on what I feel is necessary. Our sessions together are confidential, productive, informative and enjoyable. I highly recommend her and her coaching techniques as you evaluate where you are and where you want to go in life."

Joseph (Joe) S. Morrow, Manager Industrial Waste Unit

"Working with Gerrie Dresser over the past year has provided me with the essential tools for defining and accomplishing my personal and job related goals. Gerrie's attention to detail, genuine concern and motivational skills are positively contagious and have influenced my way of thinking and the manner in which I engage in 'every-day' situations. Moreover, her ability to accommodate a client's individual needs or concerns, speaks highly of her intrinsic qualities as a personal coach."

Lance H. Butler, Aquatic Biologist Manager
Watershed Sciences Group, Office of Watersheds

"Although I was initially apprehensive about the use of a personal coach to assist in identifying goals, establishing priorities and gaining a better understanding about what motivates me to achieve, the process of working with Gerrie Dresser was pleasant and confidential. With Gerrie's help, I identified the values that are important to me; the steps that I needed to take to meet my personal and professional needs and the actions necessary to reach my selected goals. I successfully achieved the goals that I identified and feel that the overall experience was worthwhile."

William (Bill) Wankoff, Water Plants Manager

"Coaching has helped me to define a clearer vision of my goals and map out a more direct path to achieve them. I learned concepts of which I was not aware that were catalysts in reaching my goals. I also became more aware of strengths that I naturally possess that had not previously been evident to me. I highly recommend coaching."

Mike Battle, Stores Manager

"I have a clearer sense of the type of work that I like to do and where my strengths/skills lie. My resume is stronger and projects the image of a capable individual whereas, before, it was merely a chronological listing of positions held."

Kathy T., Business Process Analyst

"In my 30 years of corporate and professional experience, Gerrie stands out as a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with great organizational, communication, and success coaching skills. Gerrie is genuinely interested in her client's success and does whatever it takes to support her client's goals. She is a pleasure to work with and a fabulous coach."

L.O, General Manager, Energy Services Company

"My coaching sessions with Gerrie Dresser have been very beneficial. Gerrie's practical systems and knowledge helped me to focus on building on my strengths and setting a clear direction for myself. One result is that I have been better able to maximize my day-to-day work accomplishments. That is not just very satisfying, but it has also helped reduce daily pressure — for which I am very grateful."

Nancy J. Weissman, Director of Economic Development

"I found Gerrie extremely valuable in helping me sift through what I want and what makes me most happy. Working with Gerrie has helped me focus on my professional career, work on personal relationship issues at home and has given me an overall sense of inner confidence.

By focusing on my style of leadership, I gained confidence that what works best for me internally is the way I can contribute best. Fairness and one-on-one communications helps, in addition to establishing consequences as needed. The steps that I took to clear out clutter allowed me to become more organized and follow through consistentely, were extremely valuable.

Coaching has helped both my personal relationship between my wife and me in that in that I have gained greater confidence in my ability to succeed. Gerrie has been extremely valuable in helping me work through many issues, and I find it is an ever evolving and expanding vision of what is possible."

Matthew Smith, Planning & Research Manager, Planning & Engineering Division

Professional Turn-Around:
Discover Your Passion... Lead With Your Strengths!

Immaculata University, sponsored by Career Services for Alumni Group, 2003-2004

"The Professional Turn-Around workshop was interesting and eye opening. Gerrie offered us the opportunity to look at life and career management from a unique perspective. In calling participants to "Discover Your Passion... Lead with Your Strengths!", we were challenged to build into our lives the things that matter the most. This distinctive approach encompasses more than just "finding a job" and encourages us to find our passion and take hold of it. The tools and tips provided will continue to enhance professional development, long after the seminar is completed."

Debi McIntyre, Professional Trainer/Career Management Consultant

"I would recommend the professional turn-around workshop if you are starting your career, interested in changing careers, or need a jump-start. Gerrie is an invigorating speaker and coach who gave us hard and fast tools and actions to take. This helped us get excited about the potential each of us has and to believe that there are opportunities that will engage our unique talents, skills, interests and experiences. She encouraged us to challenge the perspectives that impede our ability to go after what we want in our lives. The workshop gave me the boost I needed to 'chart my path!'"

Michelle Cranmer, Business & Training Consultant/Coach

"I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, and I found the steps and tools to be very useful in my own career exploration. The facilitator and coach, Gerrie Dresser, took the time to share the steps and tools in a caring and professional manner to the group. She showed her passion by coaching us to think and connect with our own passions.

The tools will help me to identify what meaningful work is for me to create a clearer vision to direct my search. I realized the importance of re-evaluating where I am in the process and being clear about what I want to offer. As I create my vision, it will lead me to connect with my passion and strengths for a fulfilling career."

Rose D., Human Resources

"I was feeling frustrated that years of experience as a business analyst and my recently acquired bachelor's degree weren't enough to compete in today's job market. I am better focused and feel renewed hope for future action. This was a timely opportunity to clarify my fuzzy career goals. Gerrie offered compassionate, thought-provoking coaching for clarifying values and needs, and she identified steps for further reflection to define the right path for me."

KT, alumni of Dynamics of Human Performance Management

"The experience allowed me to step aside and look inside of myself, and gave me action steps to start living more fully. I learned that I am not alone in my issues, and have a wonderful community. My most significant outcomes are taking action and identifying my vision."

Anthony D. Cellucci, Jr., Managing Partner of The Beacon Group Comapnies, LLC

"I gained confidence to explore a new job/position, and obtained a better understanding of my needs. I learned the importance of making myself feel good and that vision is the basis for action. My significant outcome is the sense of direction that I gained."
